App: GestureRemote
Effective date: May 4, 2026
GestureRemote lets you control your Apple TV using hand gestures detected by your iPhone's camera. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is used.
GestureRemote uses your device's camera to detect hand gestures in real time. Camera frames are processed entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. No images, video, or gesture data are ever stored, recorded, or transmitted to any server or third party.
The app uses your local Wi-Fi network solely to discover and communicate with Apple TV devices on the same network via the Multipeer / Bonjour protocol. No data is sent outside your local network. The app does not access the internet.
GestureRemote does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
